By Robert Bradley Jr. -- July 28, 2025 3 Comments“Joe Romm soldiers on in a futile, quixotic crusade against energy and climate reality. No midcourse correction as his tent grows smaller and smaller. Angry Joe wants to stay that way.”
Perennially wrong Joseph Romm is now with Michael “Climategate’ Mann at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Science, Sustainability and the Media. And the news is bad, very bad, for both Romm and Mann as the general public is not buying climate alarm–and is upset about “green” energy. Their Center, meanwhile, employs no critics of climate exaggeration and wind/solar/battery industrialization. It is in the tank for the Climate Industrial Complex.
So what is the latest from Romm, the subject of numerous posts over the last 15 years here at MasterResource? Before Trump 47, his habit (as always) was blaming ‘”cimate change” for bad things, as well as fussing at a world going the other way.…
Continue ReadingJoe Romm’s Repeated Deceit On Enron
By Robert Bradley Jr. -- May 30, 2025 No Comments“The consolation prize for a lot of us is that Joe Romm is so extreme and unprofessional that his cause of “Hell and High Water” suffers. Climate change is exaggerated and nefarious, just like Joe Romm himself.
MasterResource has followed the mercurial climate alarmist/activist Joe Romm since its beginning (2007). Back in the late 1990s, I sparred with Romm while I was at Enron, (“a company I greatly respect,” said he) regarding what turned out to be its most deceitful business, one promising free-lunch energy efficiency. Enron Energy Services (EES) and Romm’s Center for Energy and Climate Solutions (CECS) both bit the dust. For-profit or non-profit, the “energy service company” (ESCO) was a mirage.
Romm has referred to me as a “sociopath” in a private email.…
Continue ReadingJoe Romm’s The Climate Ate My Homework! (re Southern California fires)
By Robert Bradley Jr. -- January 13, 2025 2 Comments“In a rational and moral world, the catastrophe of the Los Angeles fires, fueled in part by climate change, would be one of many climate ‘Pearl Harbors’ that might help wake up the public to the urgent need for climate action.” (- Joe Romm, last week)
“Is it just a coincidence that the worst of the worst happened in California, the Climate State? The Green State? The DEI State? Joe, the mainstream is not buying your ‘Climate Ate My Homework’ reasoning.” (below)
Just add “policy” in two places in Romm’s quotation above, and substitute “inaction” for “action” at the end, and his conclusion can be fixed. But who is Joe Romm? And what is his track record? I have tangled with Angry Joe for decades (I am a ‘sociopath’ to him) and can address these questions.…
Continue ReadingJoe Romm vs. Climate Thugs: Civil War Within the Climate Fringe
By Robert Bradley Jr. -- December 6, 2024 2 Comments“So all you are left with days later is people remembering what a shocking and senseless thing somebody did who is associated with the climate movement…. this is a terrible messaging strategy.” (- Joe Romm, below)
Yesterday’s post highlighted the civil war within the climate activist camp on the usefulness of civil disobedience in revving up the public into climate action. Michael Mann warned, “the damage done by deeply misguided individuals who in principle would seem to be on the side of climate action but are instead dividing the community and playing right into the agenda of the forces of inaction.”
Joseph Romm, the perennially errant climate intellectual, similarly warned.
JUST STOP ALREADY! Why, why, why is our side so … senseless???
In case it wasn’t obvious, this tactic is self-defeating and senseless.…
