‘Eco-fascism’ Troubles Climate Alarmists

By Robert Bradley Jr. -- April 14, 2020

The Progressive Left is at war with itself. Instead of incrementally getting to where they want to go in a period of general prosperity, the Pandemic has offered up a destination that deep ecologists have celebrated. It is, rightfully, a PR disaster for climate alarmism.

We’re the virus.’ How eco-fascism hurts climate action,” rang the title of a ClimateWire piece by Jennifer Hijazi of April 8, 2020.

Her article begins:

Sharp declines in emissions from the coronavirus pandemic are a vivid illustration of the challenge of addressing climate change, rather than a silver lining, according to experts.

As the health crisis drags on, there’s a growing effort to recast the downward trajectory of carbon dioxide as a warning about the depth of action that’s needed to slow global temperature increases.

Climate Intelligence Foundation to Poynter Institute: Debate Climate Science, Don’t Insult

By Robert Bradley Jr. -- April 13, 2020

The CLINTEL members, who live in Europe, have seen the destructive outcomes of climate-related energy policies; widespread heat-or-eat poverty, systematic industrial ‘massacre’, … unemployment, and crippling ‘green’ subsidies. This is even truer today, due to the growing COVID-19 pandemic. What Green New Deal climate activists advocate for is economic suicide. (— Professor Guus Berkhout (Climate Intelligence) to Neil Brown (Poynter Institute)

Climate science has degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science. (‘There is No Climate Emergency,” CLINTEL)

Global Climate Intelligence Group (CLINTEL) is an EU-based organization promoting climate realism in the face of climate alarmism. CLINTEL authored “There is No Climate Emergency,” prepared by 700 scientists and professionals, which begins:

Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific.

Greenwashing vs. Shareholder Wealth: E&E Legal Wants to Know!

By Robert Bradley Jr. -- April 9, 2020

“I have never known much good done by those who affected to trade
for the public good.” (Adam Smith, 1776)

“‘I out-lawyered ExxonMobil’s high-priced, white-shoe law firm …’ said [Steve] Milloy. ‘My anti-greenwashing proposal asks the climate bedwetting, pro-CO2 tax oil giant to report to shareholders on the actual costs and benefits of its climate-related activities.’” (Steven Milloy, 2020)

In a March 31, 2020, press release, “Milloy Wins Right to Present Anti-Greenwashing Proposal at Exxon-Mobil Annual Meeting,” the Energy & Environmental Legal Institute (E&E Legal) announced the good news: ExxonMobil will need to explain its politically correct, economically incorrect position bashing its own core business. Yes, petro sales in the EU might need a little corporate greenwash, but really, who in the Left or the Right is being fooled?…
