But the current wave of socialists in power don't care that they are bankrupting everyone and refuse to learn the economic lessons of the USSR. All I can, besides constantly writing my senators and representative (Sen. Cornyn - R, Texas and Rep. Ralph Hall - R, Dist. 4, Texas) is invite everyone to read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand and be prepared for the consequences of the silent revolution. The revolution of actual producers and working people dropping off the grid and refusing to commit economic and political suicide. Also, if the US passes the healthcare, many senators and representatives will lose their jobs and Nancy Pelosi has decided those are acceptable losses to get what she wants. If Pres. Obama signs the Copenhagen Treaty, which essentially relinquishes US sovereignty to the proposed worldwide enforcement government that will be allowed to seize national assets, I will sincerely work and press on to see him impeached and prosecuted for treason.

And I believe that respected researchers Nordhaus and Tol also tell us that the cost of such policies on developed countries' is in the range of 1-4% of GDP.....ANNUALLY, not just one time (lower end earlier during the emissions reduction schemes, higher end in later years). And thanks to the good work of Master Resource and analysis by Chip Knappenberger, the best estimates of the amount we can expect to reduce planetary surface temperatures by these schemes is less than a quarter of a degree C by the year 2100 (an amount which cannot even be distinguished from natural climate variability).

Wake up, America!
