		<description>This is a great piece, but I don&#039;t believe that it is relevant to the current debate.  Environmentalists are not demanding that fossil fuels should be conserved so that future generations can burn them.  They’re demanding that the fuels never be burned – not because we’re running out of fuel but because we’re running out of environment.  Alarmists claim that the immediacy of the problem trumps every other consideration – including (especially?) economics.</description>
